ITH Santa Barbara Beach Hostel Receives Prestigious Award

As the latest addition to the ITH brand of hostels, the Santa Barbara Beach Hostel received the prestigious HOSCAR award for Best New Hostel in North America. HOSCARs are annual awards given out by the company Hostelworld, which is an aggregate for bookings and travel services around the world. HOSCAR awards recognize hostels around the globe for their performance in several different categories, and this is the first time an ITH property has received such an honor.

With a newly renovated space, the Santa Barbara Beach Hostel boasts amazing, up-to-date facilities and an optimal location. Just a few blocks from the beach, the hostel allows travelers to experience Santa Barbara to its fullest without a car. The hostel’s location is just steps away from the Amtrak station, giving travelers an easy commute to the hostel. The Santa Barbara Airport is also less than ten miles away, making it easy for travelers to access the Santa Barbara Beach Hostel through ride-sharing or public transportation.

Many bars, beaches, restaurants, boutiques, and shops are within walking distance of the hostel. In addition to being located near a handful of yoga studios, the hostel features a large outdoor space ideal for laying out a mat and practicing yoga. With weekly Farmer’s Markets, the city of Santa Barbara offers plenty of activities for travelers to choose from on their visit.
