Cruises from Fisherman’s Wharf
You have to get out on the water when you come the San Francisco. Sit back and relax as your cruise under the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz Island, and other scenic landscapes of the city!
San Francisco Tour Passes
While some city’s visitor passes are an expensive tourist trap hardly worth the money it’s advertised to be, San Francisco’s Sightseeing, Explorer, Go City, and Flex Pass are great ways to see the Golden Gate city. Most passes include admission and access to Hop-on Hop-off Bus Tours, Aquarium of the Bay, the San Francisco Zoo and Gardens, The Walt Disney Family Museum, San Francisco Bay Cruise, San Francisco Bike Tours & Rentals, and California Academy of Sciences. Each pass caters to a different experience of the city so it’s super flexible for every traveller and their interests. Some passes even grant customers access to Alcatraz and all-you-can eat buffets.
Yosemite National Park
Located in California’s infamous Sierra Nevada Mountains, Yosemite National Park is the perfect spot for an overnight adventure. The towering granite walls and waterfalls are astounding. Most visitors come to see the mature sequoia trees and the infamous Tunnel View, but the shops, restaurants, and stays in Yosemite Village are just as worthy of high praise.

Catch a Giants Baseball Game at Oracle Park
With baseball season hopefully just around the corner, go root for the home team or watch your favorite team play against the San Francisco Giants at Oracle Park in Downtown San Francisco! The stadium is located on the waterfront so plan on visiting some great bars for a fun pregame and post-game entertainment. Insiders say that Garaje and Pete’s Tavern are local favorites.
If you’re staying at the Pacific Tradewinds hostel located in SF, present your same-day baseball ticket to a receptionist at ITH Hostels to save $5 on your reservation.

Go Hiking In San Francisco
San Francisco is a huge urban city, but it has many options for rock climbing and bouldering too! Turtle Rock is a great spot for some beginner level bouldering and located a mere thirty minutes from the city. Glen Canyon is another gem. It’s one of 117 national parks with an entry fee, but I can assure you that the $25 entry fee is worth it.
Lands End Trail – Golden Gate Recreation Area
Lands End Trail has some of the best views of the Golden Gate Bridge and is therefore a must-see for tourists. The hike is about 2 hours and accessible for people of all ages. If you want to travel slightly off the beaten path, Lands End has a few side trails where you can explore beaches and abandoned lighthouses.
Fort Funston
Fort Funston is a great hike for dog owners. Catch views of the West side of the city and beachside cliffs. A former fort used in WWI, this hike is a historic loop just under 2 miles near Lake Merced and Skyline Boulevard.
