Big Bear In September Climbing Fpo

Big Bear in September offers peaceful afternoons and tranquil evenings. The summer crowds have left for the summer, and it is just you and the forest when visiting Big Bear in September.

After a long and hot summer in the city, you can’t beat getting up to the mountains for some fresh air. All of the main summer attractions are still open just without the crowds.

Find the best alpine trails as you climb to the summit and overlook the San Bernardino National Forest. Big Bear Lake is still warm, and you can cool off with a refreshing float at one of the sandy beaches near the dam. Whichever experiences you are looking for, Big Bear always serves up a great adventure!

Big Bear Lake is open for boating and recreational activities on the water.

As far as Big Bear weather in September, the average high temperature is 74 degrees Fahrenheit while the average low temperate is 42 degrees Fahrenheit.  The water temperature in the Lake is starting to cool off and sits around 66 degrees Fahrenheit.
