What’s up y’all! It’s Pride all day every day 365 days a year in beautiful San Francisco baby, but this month especially there are local events scattered around the Bay Area celebrating. I’ve done some serious research on best queer events the golden city has to offer in the following weeks, and not to be missed.
For everyone’s benefit, I’ve put together a lovely shortlist of the five events I’m most excited to check out. With the interest of the community in mind, every event listed here is all grassroots, no rainbow corporate bullshit. Queer is community, corporate is the antithesis. Let’s have fun!
San Francisco Pride Parade and Celebration (June 25th)
The Pride Parade will be on on June 25th starting at 8:30am, going down Market Street from Embarcadero to the Celebration at Civic Center.
Queer First Fridays
Queer First Fridays is a monthly gathering held at different venues across San Francisco, providing a space for LGBTQ+ individuals and their allies to connect, socialize, and celebrate. These events often feature live performances, DJ sets, and interactive activities, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie. San Francisco Official Pride Bar Crawl (June 24th)
During this pub crawl you’ll have the opportunity to visit a carefully curated selection of LGBTQ+-friendly bars, clubs, and venues. Each location has been chosen for its welcoming atmosphere, fantastic entertainment, and diverse clientele, ensuring an exciting and enjoyable night out for all.
