Located in the heart of Pacific Beach, Pump Coffee is a new shop that not only has the best coffee I’ve had in San Diego, but also the best pastries. Their croissants are the perfect combination of buttery and flakey, comparable to those in France. They offer a wide selection of coffees and espressos. They even have some very unique drinks, such as their Chagaccino which is made with chaga mushrooms that offer huge health benefits. Every staff member has an incredibly warm and welcoming personality that will make your day!

Better Buzz Coffee is located in Hillcrest – the most diverse and inclusive neighborhood in San Diego. While you sip your coffee, order one of the amazing meals they have to offer. Try the avocado toast – the most famous meal at Better Buzz – or the refreshing açaí bowl. To drink, I recommend the rose latte that comes with real rose petals!

Caffè Calabria is located in North Park. The main attraction of this coffee shop is the giant roaster, so rest assured that you will drink super fresh coffee in this place. Sit outside and enjoy the relaxing ambience on the patio while grabbing a delicious bite to eat. The pizza is amazing and reminds me of pizzas I have eaten in Europe. If you go during happy hour, you can also save some money!
