For music lovers and foodies alike, Waterfront Park in San Diego features activities and outings throughout the summer. From June until September, there will be plenty to do, so we’ve compiled a list of a few for you to check out while visiting San Diego.
Horizon ’24 ft. Tiësto + Illenium
World-famous DJ Tiësto is hitting the stages in San Diego on June 22nd & 23rd. Hailing from the Netherlands, Tiësto has become one of the hottest names on the DJ circuit and puts on an incredible live show. For all fans of electronic music, this is one show you don’t want to miss! These two EDM legends have fan bases from all around the world, and fans are excited to see Tiësto after an epic 2023 performance in San Diego. Bayfest
Bayfest is one of the best ways to celebrate San Diego’s special beach culture and lifestyle. This annual festival returns to Waterfront Park on July 20th! Bayfest is a great way to indulge in food, beverages, and live music by the sea in San Diego. This year, big names like Sublime, Atmosphere, and Goldfinger will hit the stage at Bayfest. Barks & Brews Comic-Con Edition
For the dog lovers of the world, this festival is for you! This unique event raises money for The Barking Lot Rescue. With craft beer tastings, food vendors, and plenty of dogs, Barks & Brews Comic-Con Edition is one of the highlights of the summer at Waterfront Park in San Diego. It will be held on July 27th, and it’s a great way to kick off Comic-Con in San Diego! As well as food and libations, there will be boutique vendors on hand. Bring your furry friend and enjoy an afternoon by the water at Waterfront Park.
Boots in the Park
Last but not least, Boots in the Park is a perfect way to cap off the summer in San Diego! Featuring big names like Jason Aldean and Dustin Lynch, this music festival is one for the books. Held on September 14th at Waterfront Park, this event goes all day. Local vendors will be selling food on-site, plus there will be craft cocktails and line dancing. This is one event you don’t want to miss! Tickets start at $125 and can be purchased here.
