For music lovers and foodies alike, Waterfront Park in San Diego will be featuring many different activities and outings throughout the summer. From June until August, there will be plenty to do, so we’ve put together a list of a few for you to check out while you’re visiting San Diego.
Shipwrecks House Music Festival
Held on June 10th, this music festival features acts like OMNON, Freak On, and Broken Future. A music festival unlike any other, there will be stages set up across different pirate ships, plus a silent disco stage and appearances by Captain Jack Sparrow. For music lovers, this is one you don’t want to miss!
Horizon w/ DJ Tiësto
Rejoice EDM lovers, this concert is for you! Held on June 17th, DJ Tiësto will be taking the stage to put on a night of dance music and groovy beats. This will mark his first outdoor performance in San Diego in more than a decade, so you don’t want to miss it! Additional artists will be announced later, as well.
Country on the Coast Festival
For what will be San Diego’s first Country immersive music festival, Country on the Coast is a highly anticipated event this summer. San Diego will welcome Country fans, and music appreciators alike, on June 18th for this concert series! Bring your cowboy hat and dancing shoes for this one!
Bayfest
Celebrating San Diego’s special beach culture and lifestyle, this annual festival returns to Waterfront Park on July 8th! With food, beverages, and live music, there’s plenty to do, see and experience while you hang out by the sea and enjoy San Diego’s beautiful weather and ambience. Appearances by Prof, Damien Marley and others make Bayfest one you don’t want to miss!
National Chicken Wing Day & Spirits Fest
Finally, a festival for food lovers! To commemorate a common love for chicken wings, this festival is one way to celebrate National Chicken Wing Day! Held at Waterfront Park on July 29th, from 1-6pm, this is an event that sells out quickly and is one that you will be sure to remember. Come get your grub on, and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the city!
Bleached Fest
Bringing in big names like Leon Bridges and Channel Tres, Bleached Fest is a concert series you don’t want to miss! Held from August 5th to the 6th, fans of soul music and groovy sounds can get their fill at Waterfront Park in San Diego. We suggest buying tickets sooner than later, as they might sell out!
