From beer and wine, to spirits and cocktails, we’ve got you covered with this list of the top drinking events in San Diego this summer.
Spirits Sipping Session with Togroni – This great event occurs regularly at the various Bottlecraft locations throughout San Diego. There’s one coming up on June 1st, from 4:00 – 6:00 PM, at 3007 University Avenue. Also, if you miss this one, check out the event on June 22nd at their location in Little Italy location, at 2252 India St.
National Chicken Wing Day and Spirits Fest – Don’t miss this event! Local San Diego vendors come together to dish out some of the best wings in the city. There will be live entertainment, DJs, giveaways and samplings, and also games! Pre-sale and VIP tickets are available leading up to the event. Hurry, they’re expected to go fast! The event will happen on July 29th at Waterfront Park, located at 1600 Pacific Highway.
For the wine lovers of the world, circle SommCon Expo on your calendar. This wine-centric event will be held in September. It is not only a chance to sip wine from producers all across the globe, but also to network and take part in discussions on the wine and the beverage industry. This event will happen on September 11th & 12th. Various options are available for purchasing passes for the conference, including attendance to keynote speakers and lunch tastings.
Prefer to sip, or shoot, some of those sweet agave spirits? Look no further than the Agave Fest that will be held on June 10th. With live music and entertainment, this event will feature a curated assortment of spirits that use the agave plant, such as tequila and mezcal. There will also be eats on hand, such as street tacos and ceviche. Agave Fest will be held at 9700 N Torrey Pines Rd, in La Jolla. Grab your ticket today!
Rounding out this list is the Black Plague 6 Year Beer Festival, happening in Oceanside on June 10th. This tasting event is marking the six-year celebration for the Black Plague Brewery, and is highlighted by a handful of other well-known breweries in the area. From Karl Strauss and Mason Ale Works, to Belching Beaver and Booze Brothers, the list of breweries on hand is enticing, and a great way to experience local San Diego brews. The event will be held at Black Plague Brewing – 2550 Jason Court in Oceanside.
