The Cannabis culture is taking priority on the San Diego scene!! When cannabis was legalized for recreational use across California in 2016 and became available for sale in 2018. Nobody was ready to go quite like San Diego was. SD had the greatest number of dispensaries ready to rock on January 1, 2018, and the number has only increased since then.
Here are three ways the Cannabis Culture has taken over in San Diego!
1. The Dispensaries!
San Diego’s dispensaries have a little something for everyone. Whether you’re a tourist sitting beachside trying to max out the chilling with some good tree, or you’re a local looking for reliable, knowledgeable shops that can help you get the super loud, San Diego Dispensaries have got you covered. San Diego’s many dispensary options mean there’s something for all. We’ve got the medical, the recreational, the special special.
The pandemic has had some major impact on many industries and businesses. Thankfully, cannabis businesses were declared “essential” by Governor Gavin Newsom in March 2020, so they never had to close and will not in the future.
2. CBD and Recovery
San Diego is definitely known for it’s fit culture and active lifestyle. So many of our residents are professional surfers, jujitsu players, martial artist, skateboarders, volleyballers; the list goes on.
One of the most effective and unique uses of cannabis that has come up in recent years is CBD oils and CBD’s healing modalities.
CBD oils have been used to alleviate aches and pains in the body (soreness, tightness, etc). However they have also been shown to aid in reducing acne, helping with anxiety and depression, and reduce the risk of some heart diseases. Tell that to your parents next time they get on you about using CBD!
3. Cannabis Infusions
If rolling up or hitting the bong are your flavor then we still have one more way you can enjoy the sweet sweet benefits of the Cannabis Wave; Infusions.
From your favorite soaps and fragrances, to gummies and snacks. People are taking cannibus and CBD and infusing it into everyday products and foods so that people may enjoy them while engaging in recreational everyday activities.
