San Diego has an array of beaches. Some of our favorites include Mission Beach, Pacific Beach, Ocean Beach and Coronado Beach.

Pacific Beach

With everything from parks to dog beaches, Pacific Beach offers a lot of great ways to spend your day. After cruising the beach and soaking up some sun, hit up one of the many restaurants for happy-hour or a snack. For a fun night, stay at our popular Beach Bungalow Hostel in Pacific Beach!

Mission Beach

This strip of beach area in San Diego provides great walking paths for you to enjoy the ocean breeze. There are plenty of coffee shops and bars for your morning and afternoon buzz. Mission Beach is also known for its stunning ocean views and being home to Belmont Park. We recommend stopping over at our Backpacker Hostel in Mission Beach once you’ve seen and done all the fun things in the area!

Ocean Beach

A fun and funky side of San Diego, Ocean Beach is home to a variety of different activities and hangout spots. At times, you’ll feel a blast from the past, and are bound to encounter some quirky characters and interesting art. From beach volleyball and dog parks to craft markets and late-night drum circles, Ocean Beach is a can’t-miss for your next San Diego trip!

Coronado Island

A favorite among locals, Coronado Island is home to Coronado Beach and a few naval bases. This side of San Diego sits across the bay from downtown San Diego, and at night offers spectacular views of the skyline. If you’re into golf, there are golf courses on the island, as well as a handful of parks and theaters.
