For a great central location, consider staying at Hostel on 3rd. This hostel is located in a more residential area, which means you are more likely to receive a quiet night’s rest. They have an array of options as it goes for rooms, and is located in close proximity to the Convention Center.

If you’re in town for a baseball game, look no further than Lucky D’s. This hostel has an excellent central location in downtown San Diego, just blocks from Petco Park. Also a great option for those late-night hangouts and exciting outings on the town, Lucky D’s offers you close proximity to the Gaslamp District. This gem is located right on the popular Newport Avenue, which leaves you smack dab in the middle of the action. Pro tip: book on a Wednesday, so you can enjoy the awesome Farmers Market that happens every Wednesday evening on Newport Avenue. Come hungry!
