Tourmaline beach best swell directions are NorthWest, West,  and SouthWest. Surf is good most of the time here. Make sure to be out there when its big everywhere else here you will find the wave breaks a little bit smaller and longer rides.

 

SURFBOARD AND WETSUITS

Usually surfers in Tourmaline beach like to surf longboards but you can surf anything that gives you good paddle speed as it is a slow wave. Wetsuits in the Summer is better to use a 3/2mm and for the winter a 4/3mm.
