ITH Hostels Keeping San Diego Beaches Clean
We believe taking care of the Earth at ITH Hostels and this past week we rounded up some eager guests to help pick up trash on one of our local beaches. Every day at the hostel, we offer free activities for our guests that is great for showing them awesome adventures and they can get a feel for what the locals like to do. In an effort to keep San Diego beaches clean for all the travelers coming to San Diego, we put on the gloves scaled down the cliffs of Sunset Cliffs and removed any trash or debris that near the beach.
Our team of eight happy travelers was able to cover the entire section of the beach and picked up over 50 lbs of trash! The feeling of knowing that all the animals that live on the cliffs and in the nearby waters now have a clean habitat to learn and thrive in is amazing. Part of our foundation at ITH Hostels is to make sure that we keep the Earth clean for generations to come so that everyone can enjoy our beautiful land! Everyone had a great time helping out, and we were able to enjoy another beautiful sunset on the beach after we finished!
